Finiquitao: what you'd get paid if you were dismissed.
![]()
If you were dismissed today, how much would you get? Finiquitao tells you in plain language, using Spanish law: your severance (indemnización), your final settlement (finiquito), what you’d keep after Social Security and income tax, what to declare in your tax return and how much unemployment benefit (paro) you could claim.
Coming soon to the App Store · iPhone · Free, with an optional Pase Paro
Finiquitao is in Spanish and applies Spanish employment and tax law.
Features
Your severance and final settlement
Pick the type of dismissal (unfair, objective, disciplinary or end of a temporary contract) and Finiquitao works out the severance and the final settlement: the month’s salary, the accrued share of extra pay and any vacation you haven’t taken.
What you’d actually keep
Social Security and income tax withholding are taken off. If you don’t have a payslip to hand, the app suggests a withholding percentage using the tax agency’s official algorithm.
Today, or on the date you expect
The Today tab shows the amount if you were dismissed today. In Forecast you pick a date and see how it changes.
What to declare in your tax return
Which part of the severance is exempt and which is taxable, when the 30% reduction applies, and why withholding isn’t always the final tax.
An unemployment benefit estimate
How long and how much you could claim, based on what you’ve paid in and your family situation.
Figures reviewed, sources in plain view
Every result shows when the figures were last reviewed and links to the legal sources: the Workers’ Statute, the income tax law, Social Security and the SEPE.
