At Impulses, we believe your data belongs to you. Our approach to privacy is simple: we only track minimal, anonymous data to improve the app, and we never collect personal information.
Local Storage & iCloud Sync
By default, all information you enter into the Impulses app—including items you track, your reflections, and your progress—is stored locally on your device. We offer optional iCloud synchronization to keep your data in sync across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud database, and we (the developers) have no access to it. We do not use our own external servers to process or store your personal data.
Anonymous Analytics
To help us understand how the app is used and improve your experience, we collect anonymized, aggregated usage statistics using TelemetryDeck. This data contains no personally identifiable information and cannot be traced back to you. All tracking follows TelemetryDeck's privacy-first policy. We have no advertisements and no third-party data handlers holding your personal information.
Security
Your data is protected by the built-in security features of your operating system (iOS/macOS). When using iCloud Sync, your data is encrypted by Apple using their industry-standard security protocols. We recommend using a passcode or biometric authentication to keep your device secure.

Children's Privacy
Impulses is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us and we will delete it.
Data Deletion
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all data at any time by deleting the app.
